Allow for "New Posts" default notification for Forums without the global "all messages" enabled
As the title says, I find the forum discussions far more tame and was a rather simple and not disruptive feature to actually have a visual cue on the forum channel of new posts, not just new threads, right now it only shows there is activity if there is a whole new thread but activity in one you're now actively following shows as if there was no activity on the set forum.

Yes, especially for moderation in smaller servers, I'd prefer to have the forum channel highlight so I don't have to actively check the posts otherwise. I actually do have "all messages" enabled, but it still never highlights the forum channel when someone sends a message on a post I'm not following. Following every post is a pain and clogs up the channel bar too.

moxanthia yes exactly, ability to have the forums show on the sidebar there are new messages if there are new messages, and there are new posts if there are new posts. The notification for posts/messages only appears to send the actual notifications which is not what I was expecting.

Yes very strong agree on this suggestion, logged into my support account for the first time in ages to make this same suggestion. It really defeats the point of being able to swipe all the threads under a single channel if it then effectively mutes all those threads.

I'm not totally sure if you all mean the same, so I try it in my own words.
It would be cool to have some kind of Notification if in any Post, no matter if followed or not, we see the Notification dot at the corresponding Forum. And additionally see the Posts with new messages more highlighted when enterin the Forum.
Of Course this should be configurable. And especially ignored Posts should not be shown as new message dot.
This is totally needed for Admins/mods.0
