Forum Channel - Creator of the post (OP) should be able to delete their own post like they can delete their messages
The Forum Channel is a nice addition but it lacks some things here and there.
One of them is a role permission like:
Delete own post/thread
Allow members to delete their own forum post or thread
I have an Art community server (Krita), @everyone can create posts on the help and critique forum channel.
Sometimes they delete the first message, creating an empty post, or a post without context. There are replies but no context.
A mod need to check and delete the post....
Let people delete their own posts or make it like this:
-If the person tries to delete the original message of the post they created, shows a popup warning saying that the action will delete entire post.
In the same warning something like "You can edit instead of deleting, do you want to edit?"
Then the person decides if they want to edit or delete
My server is not the only one with this problem, on the Blender server the same thing happens.
So the suggestion is simple, add a permission to give members the power to delete the posts created by them, in the same way that they can delete their own messages in a text channel.

I just found out today that OPs can't delete their own posts. They should be allowed to by default, since they started the Post. Closing and Locking works okay but it still clutters up the Forum channel because the Older Posts section cannot be collapsed, and doesn't visually distinguish the closed/locked posts from open/new posts.
