Offline status

So currently, the offline status shows notifications on my iPads screen, while I am using the status. I use the status so I can appear offline, since it overwhelms me to have people dming me left right and centre. But the problem is, messages from all my servers will appear in a bar on the top of my screen, which bothers me even more. 

So what I am suggesting is, for the offline status to be updated, to behave similar to the do not disturb status (To not show notifications), but to make users appear offline still. If this isn’t possible, also adding a second offline status would be smart.- Billie
