Retrieving Deleted Messages

Hello, I believe this feature is very useful for the whole community and for maintaining mutual respect among all users.
Recently I was the victim of personal insults by a moderator in a Discord channel chat. The channel owner deleted the messages and I was unable to request a personal retraction. In my country, I need to show proof that I have been offended and only a screenshot of the offense may not be sufficient. If it were possible to retrieve the deleted messages, even for a certain period of time, such as a few days or weeks, I would be able to demand a public retraction in the chat itself or to file a lawsuit against my offender.
When requesting the deleted messages in Discord Support, I was informed that it was not possible and was suggested to open a request here in Feedback.

So here is my suggestion for improvements of this great tool that is the discord.
