Is there, or can we get, a "quiet mode"?

I've recently started playing Escape From Tarkov, which is a shooter that relies HEAVILY on sounds, and getting pings can often mask sounds that can be absolutely crucial to survival.

I've resorted to using DND mode to turn off notifications temporarily, because I could not find an easier way to mute all notifications. This wouldn't be a problem normally, but I often forget to turn it off, and most people tend to not message because "you were in DND I didn't want to bother you". I am only using DND for the silenced notifications, so you may see the problem I have.

It'd be nice if there was a "quiet mode" or something that functions identically to DND, without the need for people to be dissuaded from messaging me. Maybe a setting you can enable when in certain games. I believe streamer mode also disabled notifications, but I'm not streaming sooooo
