Manual drawing mode in chat

Context: back in 2009 or so, my friends and I had a MSN chat group, with the MSN Plus plugin which allowed a bunch of features like coloured nicknames, animated emoticons and so on. But one of the most impressive one was a drawing mode, which turned the chat box into a canvas with a few different options. Then you could send it to your group chat and it displayed like a normal image embedded into the chat, for all the participants to see.
We used it mostly for dumb +18 jokes and drawing contests between us, but I also believe it could be helpful for people with certain physical conditions or disabilities. 
A lot of other platforms such as Instagram, Whatsapp or Facebook have some sort of drawing option - I believe it could somewhat work here too.

  I don't know how you'd plan on it filtering out NSFW images. You know how immature people are, this is going to be a playground for them.
