How the heck can you turn it off/sign off
Want ability to exit, turn off, log off. New to discord, could not figure out how to exit from discord, log off. It hangs on to my computer. I am uncomfortable with anything running in back ground constantly. I looked in help topics and could not find out how to to exit from the app, to keep it from running in background so gave up and uninstalled. I don't truly need it. Can work around it.

What OS are you using? Like Windows or Mac? Either way, you can just right-click on the Discord app and "Quit" when you're done with it. It won't give you any notifications when it's closed, though.
If you don't want to reinstall it, you can just use the website version. It's basically the same thing and has all the same features as the app version, though this time I guess you'll have less trouble exiting lol

Windows. I did not get an option for Quit and when I X-ed out was getting notification that I was popping on/off on a site was visiting. I had shut down my computer for the night and when logged on Discord was trying to log on.

If you are having trouble understand where you can log out from your discord desktop app, go under user settings and it will be the last option, wrote in red.

Did not see that option when I installed it. Was driving me crazy. I reinstalled it and found it. Not sure why did not see the slider the first time but THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! YOU ARE AWESOME :)
