[Implemented] Feature Request: Ability to set a server-side profile picture
UPDATE: This feature has released. Thank you for all the support!
You can read the official article here: Server Avatars FAQ
As the title states, users would gain the ability to not only set a profile picture for all servers. They could also gain the ability to set a profile picture on a specific server only. This is similar to the nickname system that already exists on servers; you're able to change it or keep your global username instead.
This feature could be really beneficial for those who are on multiple servers with very different purposes, such as online fun and also serious workplaces or study groups for school. Where you may be required to have a selfie as a profile picture but on the other hand don't want the other servers you're in to see your appearance.
My feature idea would allow individuals to join servers with the comfort of knowing they can be who they want to be without any stress or anxiety. I believe this is beneficial to the future of this platform as it strives to make an impact outside the gaming community.
Servers should not be able to limit this feature either. So a permission in server settings is not needed either. However, those with 'Administrator' and desired roles may view both the server set profile picture and the default profile picture of a user.
Thank you so much for reading this post! All feedback is appreciated!

I would find this incredibly useful as I'm sure to many others. Make it happen Discord!

I use Discord for online friends and school friends. It would nice to set a different picture for every server and friend group I'm part of. All for this!
