locked out of account AFTER verifying it by phone, undetermined timeout period
I verified my account with a phone number as requested. The system then proceeded to kick me out of it while I was setting my profile - more specifically, trying to remove the phone number from my profile. Now it asks me to authenticate by phone again, but doesn't accept the same number.
Support tells me I can try to log in again after a 'timeout period' but cannot tell me how long is the timeout period - i quote, "2-3 days [...] but it can take longer depending on how frequently you tried to verify the first time". How is this helpful?
1. It is really unacceptable to get kicked out of the account while actively doing stuff in it without any warning.
2. It is really unacceptable, once a user has authenticated by phone, to ask them to authenticate again/not let them set their profile as they want
3. It is really unacceptable to not let a user know how long is the timeout period. Now I risk triggering another undetermined timeout if i try to log in too soon.

Completely agree with this post. It's ridiculous!

I am in the same nightmare. a legit user trying to comply with rules and get blocked out because of unclear verification policies.
