Roles overriding each other even thought they're set at a higher priority

Ok discord has been fantastic so far, but something that has been really irritating me is when we do self roles. One is set physically at a higher priority than the rest, that specified role's perms should be the only role to override the other roles perms. I'm sorry but it's irritating that I have to go through each role, especially if I have a lot of them and set them to the same perms. And then going to the channels to make sure that the perms are the same for each role too is a bit irritating. Please make it so when we do make that role, that other ones are not interfering with each other. And then channel perms should recognize this role can do this but this one no. And yes I know you can set them for the channels but I mean the channels perms will override that too. For example invites if I have only admins being able to invite and none of the lower roles the channel should not be able override and give the lower roles that perm when I specified for it not to.
