I work retail, Customer service myself, I do in person retail/customer service for work, Online I do customer service as a side job, I've never given/ had this much disrespect as a consumer of a product. Logitech has screwed me over but at least they responded. they took the time to actually look into my case and even after when i made another support about a different product they reviewed my old case a whole year after warranty and sent me another one.
I don't expect them to lift the phone timeout its stated right as the bot comes up, I can read. I'm looking just to have the phone number either updated or the restriction removed till i can put my phone number. this is about security and they don't care.7 -
Discord don't care there's no other explanation. I've been cencored and ignored by support for weeks.
They tell me I broke their community guidelines / tos, they base that on no evidence. You're trash to them, but I welcome Discord to make me look stupid and prove me wrong! :D

Curious, if your account get's disabled, what happens to the nitro? Because I need a refund, the support team won't do anything -_-

They won't refund it, account gets locked without notice and you lose whatever was on the account, disabled is technically not a perm ban and you can appeal but so far, appeals get no human response in my experience even after I submitted proof the ban was falsely given.

Shawn just don't give up, I intend to keep pressing them until I get a human response and a discussion regarding how they've treated me and clearly countless other rule abiding users. Discord is a huge platform, we shouldn't expect personal support for every case, but they also have to be pressed to respond to users who have been mistreated by their company. If you've been unfairly banned, you have every right to question their reasoning. Their terms of service covers a lot, but they also heavily contradict their own terms of service with how they handle user accounts and bans.

They simply do not care.
And on top of that, if you dare to create a post here, you will experience mocking by friends of staff!! People who will say how perfect the Support is and how crazy you are for thinking the opposite and how lucky you are for not having an even worse treatment than that! I have seen it on other posts too, not just on mine. A behavior which, apparently, the official Discord tolerates.
My post was almost buried (as I do not have discord friends to upvote me) and other posts, like yours, do not have enough attention, because, let's face it, we, the users, do not use this forum as much as we should. On the other hand, why should we when the only persistent voters are Discord people?!?
I'm new on Discord and I'm already disappointed. I do hope I'm wrong about the forum. People who read me right now, let's prove me wrong that we care only about our own problem by reading other posts too!

To return to you, since you are waiting 3 days and wondering about when this is going to end, judging by my case, I'm afraid I have bad news for you. I'm waiting a whole week and I still have no access to my account or an ETA of an end of this frustrating situation. I even asked whether it is a matter of days, weeks or months and they never answered. I'm sorry.
Edit: I just noticed Keanu Reefs talked about WEEKS (plural). I'm personally now considering deleting my account and forget all about Discord.2 -

You're yet another case of someone who's being mistreated by Discord and it sucks. I'm not going anywhere right now, I'll be sure to keep the pressure on Discord to respond to my case, there's no way I'm being treated this poorly by a company I've supported and respected since the beginning. I remember when I moved from MSN to Skype and found my home on Discord. But, I am disgusted by the support.
I've emailed the CEO, Jason, and also tweeted him. I'll continue to tweet their Discord account and I'll continue to put in support tickets until I get an apology and a discussion regarding my situation.
You mention "you will experience mocking by friends of staff!!" - Let them. Anyone who supports this company treating its users in this way are a huge part of the problem. No one cares until it's their account being disabled or banned.
I really hope that the Discord workplace does not have the mentality of disrespecting users and treating them like trash, time will tell. I hope it's a few bad eggs at the top. If it is, it needs to be stopped.

I've had the same problems here dude, I was recently given a response (after days of emailing back and forward) which told me to try my number again and contact them if any issue occurred. This seems like the only "real" response i've gotten so far. I haven't been able to try it out on my account yet but I am hoping it'll work. I wish the best to anyone that has been locked out of their accounts, I know it's hard to not be in contact with people you care about.

Bruh my freaking account has been locked out for 8 days i have 47 notifications and my friends are probably worried, I talked with discord support so many times and i had 3 ticket's. They all say "solved" to the problem, But it hasn't been solved they said they can't tell me why my account has been flagged cause apparently its a privacy issue. Alot of people have been dealing with this i know But my account has been locked for 8 days and i really can't wait anymore.The discord support is really no They said i was talking to a real human not some dumb bot but guess what someone got the same dang response as me. Their just bots its like they don't care enough to get a real human to talk to me, i know im not special but like could you atleast bother to give me some time and help me out instead of getting one of you're bots to reply to me. I really wanna talk to people i care about and i can't even speak to them, because it was the only way i had contact i don't even have their hashtags which makes it even harder because if i fail to complete this verification i'll never get their hashtags and thats really hard for me considering the fact i'm about to move countries forever in a little while I asked so many times to help me out i litterally spent a night crying. because i was so worried i'd lose them i'm not asking for gold or anything! i just want my account back people are telling me "im over reacting" they don't understand how much that account has an impact on my life i spend my time on it at time and enjoy the end of my day to calm myself down with the help of my friends here i am locked out of my account with them not even bothering to get me a real human to talk to me i know im ranting and most of you might not care but i just want my account back i didn't do anything wrong at all

Discord can disable/delete your account for any reason or no reason. It's in the Terms of Service. If you don't agree with that, it would be best if you stopped using the service.-7 -
Yeah I can agree, Discord support sucks. For 3 days I was asking why my phone number was removed from my account. When I tried to add it back it says it was assigned to different account already. First solution was that I assigned it to my second account (which I never had). Second solution was that I should login using phone number and confirm it by email (error: email already assigned to different account). Third solution was to login by phone number again and confirm it using different email. New account was created and I had to remove phone number and delete it to allow assign phone number back again to my official account.
Many different people from support contacted me, all of them started with the same messages to do the same steps again and again, nobody was able to tell my who is using my phone number and why it was removed from my account. They told me that it is against law to tell me to what account is my number assigned. After whole situation, looks like some sort of bug where my phone number was deleted from my account but still exist in database.
So at the end it was not assigned to any other account, I had to create new account with this number and finally delete it to free up my number.
I solved it mostly myself, and almost got cancer from shit I read from the support.

If Discord is keeping you from communicating with your loved ones, maybe you should try one of the other thousand ways of communicating with them. The issue to me is that it is nothing special, and I don't like it. I would GLADLY dump them, but I have paid for services that use them exclusively. Therefor, I am stuck with their terrible service. Imagine if, to shop at Walmart, you had use Uber to get there and you hated Uber, but Walmart only accepted customers from Uber. That is what multiple businesses have resorted to. Maybe they are good from the "Owner's" side of a server, but did we really need another place for a thousand people to run their mouths at the same time? What is the value or appeal of this dumpster fire?

My main account was suspended "dehumanizing or discriminatory content or incited violence towards an individual or community." I don't know where or when the cause for it happened, but I have made two inquiries already to Support and the first one seemed almost robotic when it was posted by a member named Maggie. The second one is still waiting for a reply and I hope that a Human member of Support actually looks into it, which I know at this point is a hopeless longshot.
"Our Support Team will make sure we give your inquiry the attention it deserves" they said. Yeh right.2 -

made a new one and just chilled for 2 years untill discord just locked me out for using VPS or proxies.
i was litterally "AFK" aka i was at my computer browsing my phone
then i saw it and ofcourse i had to use my phone. well then. my phone worked once so it should work twice.
suprise suprise its now invalid!
i punched in a ticket around 1 year ago about the invalid.
its idk on cooldown for 2 years or what?
I got 3 responses that are Ctrl C ctrl V
Then the "support member" said they will redirect it to support
i got a LITTERALLY 3 LINE REPLY
and it all was litterally just a small fragment from the invalid phone number paste
it was like no screw you.
now i contacted and i got the SAME TRIGGER MESSAGE THAT IS CTRL C CTRL V!
i bought nitro for 3 months once.
I actually chatted (i got lvl 59 on a server)
I wasn't some bot i had history and actual purchases

Yeah, their support system is the worst system I've ever dealt with. Recently, I tried to log into discord to find that my account had been disabled. Supposedly, I "violated the TOS" by posting inappropriate content. Unless my account got hacked (without any notification and the hacker posted some stuff), I've never uploaded such stuff. I've reached out to submit an appeal multiple times throughout the week, but all I get, every time, is an extremely vague message saying "Your account was disabled because you violated the TOS, we will not reinstate your account". No information, evidence, just flat out disabled it.

Damn I am sorry this whole shit happened to you, but still better than mine case, they first disable my account for "being underage" than I send proof that they PERSONALLY requested to enable my account again, you know what they did after a month? They kept marking my tickets as solved and ignored them all the time, and then they deleted my discord account. Just beautiful.

I'm in this mess now and I'm threatening to go down to their corporate offices in California. I use my account for bot development, and I was fooled into downloading a program from a friend whom had already been hacked. I had 2FA on my account, but it doesn't matter because the hackers somehow went right past that. And now that code no longer works. Since I created my account in 2015 I do not have the backup codes. It's been too long!
