Discord Mobile (Android) does not automatically turn plain text mentions into actual mentions like on desktop - is this feature being implemented on mobile any time soon?

If I type @username on desktop as plain text (without selecting a user from the list to turn it blue), it will automatically be turned blue (turned into a mention).

On mobile (Android), this is not the case. @username will stay as plain text, no mention.

Will this be fixed soon?

In my mod channels, we use commands that involve mentions of users. But users are not in those channels, their names do not show up on the list to @ mention them. Therefore, mobile users cannot use the commands.
