Disable New Mic Auto-Detect

I have a monitor that is connected via a DP cable and every time I turn the monitor off and on Discord asks me if I want to switch my mic to the new device. I would like to be able to disable this auto-detect feature so as to not have this prompt appear every time I walk away and come back to my PC. I understand that I can say not to show the pop-up again but I'd rather have a switch in the settings.
