Don't re-tag when editing a message after replying someone

In addition to this issue, I'd like to ask for an option/setting to keep the ping @off/@on permanently until it's clicked again.

 

It could sync between platforms (preferably as a granular setting) to come in handy.

 

Dealing with Discord servers along the way, I see that something many people hate on Discord is about being pinged unnecessarily, if not for urgent reasons.

 

About an hour ago, I got a message regarding that if I kept replying while the ping back is on, I'd be warned or banned from the server. (Something I really don't want to happen any time soon.)

 

So please consider the permanent setting to keep the mention @off/@on, until it's clicked/set up again. That way I won't have to bother or worry too much about being punished for such actions.

Many serious Discord servers take it strictly, so I believe that's the best way to do it.

 

I was already relieved after having the replies feature, but now people have been complaining for being mentioned/pinged without urgency.
