Myself and many of my neurodivergent friends are having difficulty using Discord post-rollout of the new branding. It is extremely obvious that the new branding was not tested for accessibility because even a few minutes spent with neurodivergent or visually impaired subjects would have revealed how damaging these changes are to some of the most vulnerable members of Discord's community. Even automated testing tools report issues with the new design, and it fails the universally accepted Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) (https://www.w3.org/WAI/standards-guidelines/wcag/). I can't even open any of the pages on https://discord.com/brand-new/... without my browser automatically lowering the contrast with a yellow filter to protect my eyes. Looking at the hero banner on https://discord.com/brand-new for more than a few seconds without a filter is enough to give me a headache. Please, reverse these changes, for the sake of every one of your neurodivergent and visually impaired users.
Edit: Saw the https://discord.com/brand-new/ get 302'd to the old branding and I just wanted to say thank you to Discord for reconsidering some of these changes (I personally like things like the new Clyde, but the older design is much less hostile).
