What are you thinking discord?
This new ui is absolutely abysmal. I could spend all day listing the horrible choices, but here are the main ones.
- cant see who dms you at a glance, confusing to even GET to dms in the first place
- new dark mode color sucks to read especially when you have astigmatism
- new icons dont fit with the rest of the app but thats a minor concern when the rest of the app is this bad.
- highly corporate bottom bar is totally unnecessary when youve demonstrated that its features could 100% be achieved without it.
- cant adjust stream volume anymore
- sending a message no longer clears the text box after sending
Please discord open your eyes and stop feeding the investors and start feeding the users.

I'm thinking we need to start getting in touch with the investors directly to voice our concerns. If they're not listening to us here then we need to think bigger as a community. Tencent in particular has participated in multiple funding rounds and does not like seeing numbers drop.

That's just it: they aren't. They weren't thinking and someone for some reason greenlit the most inaccessible UI I've seen for something in a lot time. It is hostile to those with disabilities or issues, and it is clunky and buggy. Someone was either not thinking or we need to get ahold of whatever drugs they were on when they decided it was a good idea to roll this new UI out and remove our ability to change back.
