New UI is clunky, laggy, and unintiutive

It's just unnecessary. None of the changes are anything anyone asked for. A quicker way to reply to messages without tapping and holding and scrolling is nice - but why would you make that function one that people were already used to? We were all used to swiping to see who's online - I did it a lot - and now every time I do it get a reply. Additionally, tapping the top to see who's online just feels bad. 

The old UI was good and intuitive, just a smaller version of desktop. Swipe one way to see the stuff on one side, swipe another to see the other side. It was clean and made sense.

Additionally, while I can deal with it, separating servers and DMs is just stupid. All of discord is a messaging service, what was the need to separate them?

It's just overall slower and laggier as well. 

Please revert it back, or at least give us the option to. This is wholly unnecessary, just a quick glance at the feedback session is all you need to see to know that no one wants this.

    Only reason I can imagine for the swipe to quick reply is that a bunch of other messaging apps are using that, and apparently the priority is mindless imitation over keeping something bespoke that worked for their service. It's absolutely pointless.
