Marking channel read iOS
Seeing new inconsistent channel marked read behavior since version 208.0 for IOS released.
If I go into a channel that has enough new messages that I need to scroll on my phone to the bottom of the new messages, and actually scroll to the bottom, the channel gets marked read.
If I go into a channel that has less than a full screen of new message, if you just read the new message, or even try to scroll past the last message, and subsequently leave the channel, the channel remains with the “new message” indicator in the channel list. The only means to remove the new channel indicator is to return to the channel you just left for a second time, or press on the small X on the banner that says “Y new messages since HH:MM AM”, or use the menu item “mark channel as read” after a long press.
This desire is undesirable because the user shouldn't have to go out of their way to clear the unread message marker after visiting a channel with only a couple new messages.
This behavior is inconsistent with the Windows Discord app, which does not require user action to mark a channel as read after opening a channel with new messages that do not fill the screen.

This is now also a problem on android. Version 223.15
