Suggestion to make notification sounds less annoying

I think it would be really nice to have the a different notification sound that's shorter and toned  down for subsequent messages from the same source within a time frame, maybe with changes to pitch or tone that could even play a bit of a tune for multiple messages, or maybe different pitch for different people speaking in the same channel. Something like that would help make the Discord notification sound way less grating and more pleasant to receive.

    There are a few ways to get around this. One is to enable DnD, another is to lower the volume in Windoes setting. System > Sounds > Discord  and turning it down.

    Iceskape That doesn't really solve anything at all. Assuming people still want to receive notifications, at a normal volume, the repeated identical sound is what makes it annoying, not that a sound exists or the volume of the sound.
