Feature Request: Allow Hiding/Pinning channels for all servers / Favorite Channels on Desktop

I really enjoy the customization possible in community servers by only showing channels I'm interested in and muting the ones I don't want to get “unread” notifications for. 

Sadly this depends on the server owners to set up community server features, so I'd really love if this was a global feature for those that want it.

Hiding all muted channels doesn't do the same, since I still want to check/talk in channels that I have muted sometimes.

Alternatively, the “Favorite” feature from mobile would also suffice to have on Desktop as well.
