My account got hacked and need help fast..

    dont give him anything ,block him and just send a ticket to discord they can trace ur acc if u used the right email u used before u got hacked

    Yeah I'd block the hacker, theres no use in trying to talk to them anyways. Dont send money and if you had your paypal or a credit card linked to the account, make sure to cut the ties to your account, because often they use it to buy discord nitro for hundrets of dollars. 

    I know its hard to, but try to not panic in this situation and spam tickets to the discord team, because its of no use. Open a Ticket with the “Someone impersonated  Discord Staff” option, and when asked if you got an email from discord select “yes”. This is usually the way most people got their account back. 
    How long it will take? Noone knows. Some get it back within 20 minutes, some will take months for the account recovery. I got mine back after 3 months and about 19 tickets.

    Yupp, and there are people who wait even longer. Its all just a game of luck.

    Yea I know it sucks.. whats the worst is that you know you cant do anything to speed up the process

    My account got hacked by the same thing. The person I dealt with was will_support12. He used the pfp picture as the real Will Tan from his LinkIn along with a phone number, headquarters address to make himself look convincing. The hacker almost took 1500 from me, and thank goodness I called the bank in time and alerted the third party (remotely.com) to cancel my transaction. I took screenshots of as much as I could, but even then I'm absolutely worried. The only thing that should hopefully help me that it's my account is my phone number and nitro receipts.

    how'd you make a post like this? same problem with me as well, scammer changed my email and removed my number linked to it.

    I remember I still have this thing and it wasn’t effected.. and it’s freakin scary to realize how bad these scammers are

    Hey Kevin. When I first registered discord, I think it saves my email? I also had submitted a previous ticket for an unrelated cause back in 2020, so there is records that this account has been associated with my hacked account if that makes sense.

    I'm not sure if they removed my number yet. I placed my number last minute before they locked me out so I'm hoping and praying really hard they didn't remove it.

     Update on my situation: Had to make another ticket. First ticket was closed since I needed to send an email that was associated with my account before it was compromised. I rewrote and tried to be as clear as I could. This is day 3 and I'm really worried. I hope you all get your accounts back soon…

    My advice is to be patient and wait. Spamming tickets I doubt is going to do us any good as it would just backlog our tickets and won't speed up anything.

    Man the same thing just happened to me like yesterday and now I am still waiting for Discord to respond to my ticket, the suspense and the devastation makes it really hard to wait but i hope that soon enough we will be able to resolve our issue. I just hope the scammer hasn't removed my phone number linked to it. Which I doubt he can because I think to change phone number you'll have to put a code, discord sends you through sms and then when you put the code, they change it. So I don't think there's a way he can take off my phone number from my account without me knowing (I hope)

    Yeah just keep being persistent. Doesnt matter what the bot says, theres no limit in how often you can send tickets, just dont send multiple tickets at once. Change the wording a tiny bit, try different weekdays or hours when submitting a new ticket, so the chance is higher you get a shift that actually cares. 
    I know it can be soulcrushing to get one bot reply after the other, but theres really nothing else we can do

    It's been two days already for me and I haven't even gotten a response and my ticket is still open. The only response i got was from Clyde telling me that the discord support team was investigating into the matter and that was when i first made the request and i haven't gotten anything since then. 

    I don't know if i should open another ticket or wait for a response for this current one I have

    @Yanni I wouldnt open a new ticket as long as another is open. If they detect that multiple tickets are open they just close the new ones more or less immediatly

    If you are unlucky, quite a lot of times. But dont panic, stay rational and everytime they close a ticket just submit a new one. I know it feels like shit everytime they deny you from support. Just annoy them long enough and they will look into it
    I felt the same, getting deinied over and over, and seeing other people here in the forum getting their accounts back. It really is soulcrushing. But keep being persistent
