Account lost after a scam, and support doesn't help.

    Because this is what happens when an major company starts cutting costs, unfortunately. Really is jarring on just how.many security vulnerabilities that it has, tbh

    Guess what? I have the same issues as well. I am an owner of 2 servers, and I don't want them to be deleted because of some fake Discord support scam I fell for a week ago.

    Yeah same here, 7 years gone. In full honesty the guy messaged me at 5-7 am so I was barely conscious when it was going on and didn’t realize til later. Unfortunately it’s a waiting game. For some people they said it took months, and that seems to be the majority of those who got it back. So in reality nothing we can do til the 3rd party bot company alerts a human. 

    One thing is, sending multiple requests can blacklist you so be careful only open one at a time. Keep opening more once the others get closed. Keep at it

    Some dude It's crazy to me that they know people have been scammed by this fake Discord employee for a while. Yet they don't think it's time to have a dedicated Discord server with every employee who works for support so people can double check if they have been messaged by a real employee or just by a scammer. Discord not having a dedicated server for this is crazy to me.  I didn't care and didn't have to care about this so far, so I never knew no one was going to ever message you from Discord Support, or you could never contact them either, while it takes weeks to get an email from a real person.

    LibraVenusSpade  Discord support really doesn't care, and I am not sure if they can give my servers back because I am pretty sure both servers are gone now. The guy already removed all my friends from my friend list, so at this point I can make a new account, and it's the same thing. But the servers really hurt, so I really hope they will help you sooner without you losing your servers.

    They can’t give your servers back unfortunately, they even say that in the hacked account request forum that any changes to your friends or servers cannot be recovered

    Marionette Yeah, same thing. When the guy messaged me, it was like 11 p.m., and I was in the middle of a game trying to focus on both and fix this issue without realising I was about to lose everything I had worked for years. Like the guy who messaged me and it was already a scammer, I am pretty sure. I know he would make a dumb mistake by explaining why my account got reported. When "support" asked me to show them my bank account and how much money I have on it, I realised this had to be a scam, but by that time my email address had changed. 

    I am not sure if I am already blacklisted or not, because the first two days I remember having two ticks open at once, but since then I have been opening one after the previous one was closed by the bot. I am messaging them on Twitter as well, and I have gotten no answers yet. It's crazy that I have to message Discord support on X. This is a joke. Just make a dedicated Discord server.

    Marionette That's why I am worried, and I have no clue if the servers were deleted or if he just decided to remove the people from them. I am not sure which one he chose to do because he left every group chat I had one by one as well. Instead of just deleting my account or something, I am not sure what he did or didn't do, but I really want the support to give me feedback, and worst case scenario, I will make a new account. But until they give me feedback, I don't want to use the same email if they manage to give it back.

    Krisztián Somogyi yeah no I totally get you. I’m also very worried because I don’t think he has left any servers with my account yet. I know I asked a bunch of people to kick me so that way I don’t get banned from there so I’ll always be able to join back once I got my account back. Unfortunately they won’t even give updates, like so far because it’s all bots and from what I’ve read the human staff only focus on big time people like Mr. Beast because he brings them a lot of money and stuff

    Krisztián     there's actually at least two “official” Discord servers and I can absolutely say that both of them will just tell you to file only one request and just hope for the best. And yes, I'm well aware just how terrible of an suggestion that this is

    Marionette I wouldn't be surprised if this would ever happen to someone like Mr. Beast, or even if it's a smaller person who still brings them a lot of money. In their case, giving their servers back would be an option. But I read too many comments from people who have nitro and boosted a server for years, and I am not saying that just because you spent a lot of money, you should have privileges so your messages get to human support more quickly. But still, they are ignorant of those people as well. If you don't bring them millions, you aren't worth the time for them to get any kind of help. I have never seen such bad support in my life. This is my first time, luckily, when I had to use support, but this is something else.

    About the servers that I mentioned, one is for web coding. The other is mainly there to redirect you to here and solving some really basic tech issues. And both of them do not represent the company in any official capacity 

     

    So yeah, this company really is cheap.

    I just don't get how such a big company like Discord can do this. Even most games have dedicated Discord servers, at least big gaming companies have their own support, which you can contact via email, or you can contact them on Discord, and they will still give you more help than just redirect you to write an email. How can Discord not have support on their own platform and use only email or Twitter? Which again just gonna redirect you to write a ticket and hope that a human eventually gonna see your message. The fact that you have to hope to get noticed by a human when writing a support ticket is absurd to me.

    so far, the only issues that I've had with customer service from other companies was an bit of an language barrier and me waiting for an few days 

    BUT they've never banned people out of nowhere nor did they routinely closed an ticket once an bot saw it

    Only thing that might actually scare them is someone suing them or something. But I doubt if that one who was running around, threatening to…You know…Would actually make an difference, unfortunately.

     

    But, hey! I'm an pessimist! Who cares what I believe in?

     

    Now, I'm going to make another ticket to see where the queue is at

    So the very first one that I made was #46388898 which was invalidated for being in the wrong category, so the one that I'm actually counting is #46389061 which was marked as inactive. Now since both of these were made 11 days ago, today's ticket is #46726724 which was made less than 15 minutes ago as of this post

     

    Which means that people have been filing 30,000 requests each  day

    Some dude  I get that it's totally too much, but in my opinion, not every request is ban- or hack-related; others probably have different issues. But hacked accounts should be a priority in my opinion, or at least definitely not auto-closed by a bot without a human ever checking them. 

    Like only for one ticked, I saw a real person actually being tagged but then never answered me instead it was closed by AI. I saw way too many people complaining about hacked accounts and falling for the recent scam. So it's weird that they just ingore them or us like this.

NOW DISCORD HAS BAN NED ME AND I DON'T KNOW WHERE MY FRIENDS ARE I'M LOST AND ALONE AND THEY STOLE EVERYTHING I BUILT IN MY ENTIRE LIFE AS I LET THEM BORROW IT FOR JUST A MINUTE!!     The support really isn't very supportive. It's only been a recent thing, but I stupidly got my account hacked a few days ago too by the scam when I was half asleep and got into a panic. I am currently on my 14th ticket. They keep getting marked as solved even when nothing is solved. I had Clefairy message a response one time about my ticket being escalated before it was closed with no response. Robert was another individual who spoke to me yet it seemed more of an automated response before it was closed even after I responded to it. Then an individual named Khamille also sent a reply following another ticket after the Clyde response. Some people have said those are real people, but their responses sure don't seem like it.

    I am going to keep trying as someone said they had to send over 52 tickets at varying times over the course of 2 months to gain help from Discord Support. Meanwhile some received their account back within a few days. I am at my wits end as I have even sent things to all the social media platforms to gain help. Currently I simply keep getting Clyde responses now after the last message from Khamille. I have provided a lot of document proof and screenshots in the attached files section as others suggested as well. I'm trying to tell if I should just keep trying or if there is a different route I can go to gaining some aid. the hacker changed the email attached to the account, but I have email proof of the email I'm using for support being attached to the account via an old nitro subscription email along with other screenshots. It's honestly maddening.

     I got the same issue, same hack method, they can't also help me even after the evidences i just offered… good luck on your account. We both are screwed.

    @...  That's the thing: if they aren't doing it for the people, then do it because this makes them lose money.But they don't even seem to care because even people with years of nitro and server boosting fell for this, and obviously now they won't even do that ever again. A lot of money is wasted because, most likely, they won't ever be able to get their account back. And clearly, this is one of, if not the worst, supports I have ever seen. They make money from us, and for some reason, they are just going to ignore us. Like someone said, there are like 30k tickets a day. I would easily think 10k of those tickets are from people being scammed, and now they are trying to get their accounts back.But also, it's most likely not from 30k different people since Discord makes us open a ticket daily since every ticket is automatically closed by their shitty bot.

    I just really hope Discord helps us get back our accounts because this makes me lose my motivation to build a community once again on their platform. Why would I do it if it can be gone in just a few minutes without them ever being willing to help or ever bothering to look at your ticket? It really stinks, man. You even put way more effort and money into your community than I did, and I feel so bad for losing my community, so I can see how this destroyed your mental. At this point, I don't know what to think. Maybe after enough complaints, they are going to do something about it and help people more.

    LittleMourner  I am pretty sure I provided every piece of evidence they could ever need. Now we just really need real human support who reads the tickets we have to write daily. But seeing Discord, I wouldn't be surprised if they would just block your tickets and mark them as spam if you write daily, while you have to write daily because the bot messages we get are useless. I just hope we all get back our accounts and that the servers we had weren't deleted by this scammer. I wouldn't be surprised if it were the same person.

    The worst thing is they aren't just ignoring me through tickets; they do the same thing on other platforms as well. I messaged them on X daily as well since this happened, and they don't even leave me on seen. I would be more happy to be left on seen than to have to wait and hope they might help. I want to get feedback on my ticket, and I don't care if they let me know they can't help and can't give me back my servers if they are actually gone or give my account back, but I want to hear that from a real person. I don't want to see the Clyde bot ever again pasting automated messages, which isn't even close to a solution to what I am dealing with.

    Well, the actual number that I came up with was an little bit over 30,000 new requests per day But I have no idea how many new replies that they're getting, I imagine that it'll be substantially more, considering how replying occasionally opens an ticket.
