This is apparently the only way to get a response from discord support

Were you hoping for an explanation on how to hear back from discord support? Well wrong again, bucko. This forum post is my last idea on how to get discord support to notice me. I have had an open support ticket since at least June 3rd 2024, and not once have I been contacted by an actual human. I thought I did for a second because I got an email saying they would “escalate my ticket to a team member” but then they sent me an exact copy of that message after a month or two. 

To explain in full, I am trying to verify my account, but my phone number is apparently already being used by another account. When I try to use my phone number to sign into the account, it says the account has been disabled, and it has been that way for months upon months. I just don't know how this big of a company (one focused on communication, mind you) can be so absolutely unforgivably unreasonably horrendous at communicating with their users. 

If you are having an issue with discord support not contacting you, flood the forums with your anger, because that seems to be the ONLY way to even have a CHANCE for them to notice you. If you want further advice, try contacting a higher power. If that doesn't work, just vent in the replies to this post. 

And if the no doubt underpaid workers at discord see this, it is not your fault. The system you operate just sucks, and I can't imagine there's anything you can do about it. Although if you're accepting ideas, just use your own platform to let people contact you. Discord support would probably be a lot less hated if you could just shoot the official Discord account a DM with your issue. 

Anyway that's my ranting done, I'll check back in a week or so to see if this has garnered any response from the discord team, but I doubt it.

    discord has seemingly gone down hill FAST these past couple days. the recent ban wave took out a lot of innocent users. the app breaks so often and nothing gets fixed 80% of the time. safety risks. and over all just unreliable. they layed off so much staff that quality dropped. if all my friends wernt using discord right now, i would've left a long time ago…

    Literally the SAME exact problem here. It's so incredibly annoying. It's a shame discord is slowly falling off in terms of overall management. I get that it's a lot bigger now, but communication is supposed to be it's thing. Discord mods, if you're seeing this guys post, get to my tickets too. Because this is downright frustrating.

    Yeah, 11 days later and still nothing. I have no clue what discord support is doing but it is clearly not enough.
