Better Colorblindness/Visual Accessibility Options
We need better and more visual accessibility support. Currently, especially with the new UI update, there is less contrast than ever with text and text, for some reason, within certain UI elements has gotten smaller.
Some useful things to add to better help me (and hopefully others)
- The ability to adjust font size on UI elements. There is a feature currently to make chat font larger, but as far as I'm aware there does not seem to be an ability to adjust it for UI elements. Those remain small, no matter what font size you choose.
- More contrast between text color and backgrounds/UI elements. There seems to be poor consideration here. I stick with the plain black or grey backgrounds as they hurt my eyes less but then the UI font is just…a lighter gray. This makes certain messages/text very hard to see. Add more contrasting font colors or a border or something to add contrast in the text.
- Colorblind options in general. Adjusting saturation of colors is not sufficient or helpful. Colorblindness is not just a scaling of saturation. Such an option is unhelpful. The ability to add contrast or even adjust certain colors manually (such as the above issue with UI font being gray would be nice to make it just plain white instead) would help when dealing with poorly contrasting fonts/UI elements.
There are many more issue to change that I either have not noticed or am not articulate enough to explain properly. But these are just basic things that would help many people at least a little bit.
