No real fan of auto-embed link-previews at bottom of messages...

I'm very happy I noticed that using < > around a link disables the embed (sometimes links don't have any useful preview), but for other occasions where I do want to have previews, they always end up at the bottom of posts. Isn't it possible to get those previews at the location where the link itself is posted in the message?
