Persist volume slider for embedded media

Currently listening to different files often leads to a nasty surprise as embedded media is always played at full volume.

The volume slider's position in embedded mp4's and other media should persist across different files and servers, so users wouldn't have to constantly fumble for it.

Now that were here, the slider could also be logarithmic, providing more accurate control over the perceived loudness.

    This would be a godsend. It's always annoying to scramble for the volume slider the moment after you press play.

    I 100% agree. I know my knowledge is limited, but I feel like this could easily be implemented with maybe 2 lines of code, which would drastically improve the QOL. the only possible problem might be other platforms embedding through links, which you could probably exclude from the setting.
