Launch the app in invisible status.
So right now the only way to start the app invisible is to log out invisible. Personally I would like it if there was an option to always start in invisible mode, even if I logged out Online.
Similar system would starting Steam but beeing Offline on the Friendslist.
Now that Discord even has Store and is generally more than just a tool for (voice)chatting I feel a lot more relieved if I can start the programm and the friendlist seperately. Launching invisible is basically that.

What? 2 years and discord still hasn't added this feature yet? I'm pretty sure we can all agree this feature would be pretty useful and make discord a lot better.
I think There should either be an option in settings to have your status automatically invisible, no matter what your prior status was, And an option in settings to have it ask you what status you want when you open up discord. They'll probably be disabled by default and you can enable them anytime. It would probably go in the "My Account", "Privacy & Safety", or "Windows settings" tab in settings. however, The "Windows Settings" tab is only on the desktop app, and I'd like this option to be in browsers, too.

Discord is no longer the "specifically for gaming" social interaction platform it used to be. You're now advertising it as "Your place to talk and hang out" another general hangout chatroom any other chatrooms already out there. How will Discord differentiate itself when it can't even do the basics. Even older and sometimes OUTDATED SOFTWARE like Skype and MSN messenger let you sign in as invisible and yet Discord still hasn't implemented this feature? If we want to talk and hang out with friends on a server while remaining invisible to work friends who also use discord to communicate with you, how would you do that without letting people you don't want to talk to know you signed in already? Come on. It should be a relatively simple feature to implement.
