Make searching for posts in the respective month of a year better

Now that it's 2019, I want to search some posts that was from last year, but if I do (for example) "[during: July] [during: 2018]", it would show results for the whole year, but if I do the exact reverse, no results at all.

It would be appreciated if searching with "[during: July] [during: 2018]" or the other way around instead of "[after: 2018-06-30] [before: 2018-08-01]" will work with search results from that respective month of the chosen year.

P.S.: English is not my first language, so I apologize if I did type some grammar mistake.
