make hotkeys program to specific controller buttons
My issue is I have my push to mute and toggle to mute programmed to a button on a throttle quadrant, button 0 to be specific for push to mute. Problem is not button 0 on all my controls works the push to mute. This problem has kept me using teamspeak for this reason.
If there was a way to change it manually in the files I would be open to that solution as well.

This has become a problem for me as well.
To clarify:
I have an XBox One controller, and I have a Thrustmaster T.16000M joystick and TWCS throttle HOTAS kit. Each of these is its own USB device. The way Discord works now, assigning a button on one of them assigns the same button for all other USB game controller devices. Since I use the Thrustmaster joystick and throttle together, this means that I can't map a throttle button to PTT or PTM without also having the corresponding joystick button do the same. Furthermore, if I were to wish to switch to my XBox One controller to play another game and have PTT or PTM on that, I would have to remap the button each time to get it where it would be practically useable.
This is simply nuts. Discord needs to differentiate input from different game controllers.

Same here. I'm a simracer and use several USB input devices: Steering wheel, button box, shifter. The ptt button I want to use on my wheel is the same one as second gear, and that button stays pressed when in 2nd gear. Kinda defaets the purpose of using ptt ;)

Same. Discord desperately needs an overhaul of control mappings. I need to be able to map functions to specific device buttons. Also controller D pads can not be mapped at all which makes little sense

Same!

Agree... some input devices have same "button number", but are allocated in the full wording towards to an device. Like Simhub or other software, due to the device allocation, they are able to follow device specific hotkeys... ! Can´t also use some of the hotkey due to that issue, which many have already solved. Please do so Discord-Team...then many of your user have more flexibility!
Thanks!

This really is a problem, are there any plans for Discord to fix this?
