get rid of discord nitro server boost
honestly... i really dislike it... it adds a new button "boost server" to the server, and when i mean to click server settings, i click "invite" and it is really getting on my nerves, especially the many times i said i do not want to buy nitro... yet it shows everywhere "buy nitro" which is discriminatory, and is really annoying, but if you like it, i can handle your thoughts, just don't strictly say "f off, it's good!" or anything like that, it is just constructive criticism... on top of that, the idea itself, ugh... idk how to explain how much i hate it honestly

@Hexerin I'm assuming you missed the part where you must have the more expensive discord nitro subscription to boost. SO yeah, that's a pretty decent additional investment if you have no interest in the games library/are on an OS that the games are not supported on.

its a cash grab. Say I spent over $200 on gifting nitro for people to server boost IF they stop boosting server and I JUST hit lvl 5 in a few days if they don't buy more Nitro I will lose my server lvl. THIS is why I say cash grab as all that money I would have put into my server "as I have a small server" GONE fix this server boosting cash grab nonsense

@hey it's rj hope my response helps on why I think this server boosting is a terrible idea especially when losing levels as I just lost 1 level and have no intention of giving them $500 a month to have shitty perks like "higher audio" when on the twitter page what do I see about audio??? TOP tier?? so what tier do I start off at????

if anything, we really shouldn't be buying nitro if we're just going to lose perks just like "that"... honestly, i used to think it's good, but they are becoming cheapskates, and honestly, i question what the discord team do with the "nitro" money we earn, and then spent for "nitro", i would like to know, cause they aren't really doing much for the platform i am beginning to suspect...

IF they made it permanent unlock perks MAYBE I would gift some nitro here and there to help support it but when it requires like I said $500 to get to lvl 3 and if you don't give them that money everything is lost. THAT is what makes me say cash grab and hope others see it too. that is why i don't want to buy nitro, cause if they are going to use my hard earned cash for their personal gains, i prefer to get a new laptop honestly, cause laptops are cheaper than nitro, and you're not getting ripped off by kids who doesn't know how to make a decent platform... cause if they aren't going to use our contribution for the platform, then what's the point? you could be getting better things with $5 than nitro, and when people just starts to flex off their "badges" by showing how many badges they got, bragging about it, etc. [you get the point] then that's when discord has completely lost their mind, because badges really should not have existed to begin with if that was to happen, and the hypesquad idea, i will admit, before the hypesquad house was a thing, it used to be good, now it's not even a unique thing anymore, the reason why i removed my hypesquad house, also when i got disabled, they refused to reinstate my old account, so i had to block discord's messages on gmail since i been disabled, but yet they still was sending me messages on my gmail account, which really got me furious, cause i didn't even see the point in continuing to see gmail messages about "hypesquad" this and "hypesquad" that, it's stupid and pointless nowadays, since houses is a thing now, that is my complete reasons here

if anything, nitro server boost idea is just a gimmick that tricks people into spending more for their personal gains instead of consumer gains, now if it was consumer gains, then they'd be more generous and get us more updates instead of cheap updates like this one, basically telling you to buy nitro regardless

was just making a point if its top tier as they claim then they are limiting the quality of things to kinda force you into paying them. also the only NEW things I see anymore are not even worth anything, animated server icons for example but when I seen a youtube video on how to do it without nitro... patched!! so something usless as a animated icon they want your money! top tier audio quality.. I question it now

oh animated pfps used to be a thing, there was a trick you could do to make your pfp animated without having to pay, but they had to patch it, because they hate animated pfps, and if you didn't pay for nitro within 3 days of short of cash, you'd lose everything you customized on yourself, animated pfp, tag would be randomized, etc. and yeah, discord is getting worse about newer stuff being added in, and nitro drives people nuts to where they have to make scam servers to trick other people into giving out their tokens, cause they are idiotic people, and discord wouldn't do anything to completely stop them kinds of people, which i find their platform structure in-doubt...

that indeed is ironic, you have to pay for everything, yet they "claim" to have top tier stuff, but you have to pay, which some of us rather not pay one cent, the only thing i'd pay one cent for is a new laptop, because i wouldn't have to continuously pay money for it, which is ridiculous, just for one chat platform, and they are possibly not using the money for the platform...
