Copy/Pasting permissions

The idea is to add a button in the permissions that allow you to copy the permission of a role from another channel or category.
Situation : you have 3 channels in 1 category, there's a role called *bot* and another called *member*.
In 1 of the 3 channels, *bot* isn't allowed to speak, and *member* is allowed.
In the 2 other *bot* is allowed to speak, *member* isn't allowed to speak but can see the messages that *bot* send.

And here come the problem, you can't sync the category permissions because they have to be different for some channels, and you can't copy paste channels permissions from another channel, so you have to manually make ALL the permissions or every channels, and in some case when you have more than 12 channels where all channels have different permissions for some rank, you find yourself whit more than 15minute (and for some cases even an entire hour) making permissions.

SO what my suggestion add? a button in the permissions setting where you can copy a permissions from a category or a channel to another. like you can copy *bot* permission from *event* to *public*, or even copy the *bot* permissions to the *member*

    I agee with this. Also the possibility to COPY PASTE a ROLE to a NEW ONE. Categories too please!

    This post may be dead, but if the discord admins see it, this would be a super useful addition, being the owner of a server with more than 30 active channels, things get clogged up. We archive channels every now and then on my server and my friends. Having said that, I cannot just throw permissions on a category for it to work, i have to edit each roles permissions on every channel that i want certain people to not see or not talk in. Thanks

    I just made a discord server and was looking for this exact same feature, oh wait, it doesn't exist.

    Would absolutely love this feature, would make things a whole lot easier.

    Also adds this for roles as well like Kitano in the comments above said.

    Just had one member of the group turn sour, so had ot change a channels settings. his vitriol spewed into other channels, so yeah, im going to have to do this for all te channels, and "sync" doesnt explain what it synchs to. Is there a default template i didnt see it synchs to?
