Same, just like you can give people emoji permissions you should be able to give permission to manage bots!

Well a problem with that is that the person who has the add bot perm can simply give the bot all perms needed to purge a server so giving a person with a purge bot bot perms means that they can literally purge the server faster than if they only had admin with no bot.

You could also just send the admin the bot link. Then the admin can press it and see what permissions are required. And therefor avoid a server purge

Yes, discord should separate out administrator level permissions. I am having an issue now because I am in charge of all the technical/IT side for our gaming group; however, because of the game (EVE Online), my leader doesn't want me to have access to certain portions of the discord. As security is a huge thing in EVE, they cant just trust me not to look at certain channels. It would be great if I could either be given global admin rights, but only a few of the total administrator rights, or only have admin rights over certain sections of the discord (say separated out by categories or something).

e.g. Administrator - Newbie Section, Administrator - Members, Administrator - full. And within each of those, say the administrator of the newbie section only needs to create channels or assign roles, the member level administrator needs to be able to add bots etc. etc.

At the moment the only solution I can find is for very high leadership to have their own discord. But with the amount of discords out there, I don't know how your discord list is looking but mine is rather.. full.

There has to be other applications for this outside of gaming too.
