Turn off go live notification
I really like the in-game overlay, but the go live notification is really annoying. Is there a way to turn off that notification specifically? If I want to stream, I'll just stream to twitch. I understand that's not the case for everyone, but for those whom it is, it would be nice to be able to turn it off...
EDIT: Changed "steam overlay" to "in-game overlay," as this what I originally meant.

I would rather disable all overlays than have a button that screams "Lets make all your gameplay public right now" popping up constantly. If disabling overlays doesn't do it, then discord will no longer be running on startup on my machine.
Note: It matters not whether it actually works if i have no streaming setup or not. It sounds like it plausibly could just-work, and that makes it profoundly uncomfortable to have pop up constantly.
Being able to disable this popup (preferable as a checkbox on the popup itself, so its super obvious) is a MUST.

While I appreciate seeing that other people are of a similar opinion about this topic, it is now two years old and unlikely to be noticed by the discord devs.
The best thing you can do to gather attention to the issue is simply upvote the thread or, if someone would like to take it upon themselves to do so, create a new thread requesting a way to turn the notification off and post the link here (so that those of us who still watch this thread can upvote that post).
If you must continue posting about the issue in this thread, let's keep it civil; affecting a hostile attitude is not a good way to get the change which you are requesting.

I would just like to say that I'd also very much want to have a way to turn this extremely annoying feature off. Or just.. remove it altogether? For everyone? You guys must have some data from how it's being used and I can't possibly imagine it being clicked very often. Not on purpose, anyway.

I agree, it's really annoying having to close the notification every time I open a game. The discord developers need to stop ignoring this issue.

Bumping this thread, it's still an unfixed issue, had to disable the overlay completely to get rid of the notification

Hopelessly reading this whole thread hoping someone had an issue...
I usually DON'T mind this notification, as it tends to pop up once then never again.
However, for Rimworld, it keeps popping up every minute to remind me to stream it to my friends.
Had to turn off overlay for Rimworld but I do like to have the overlay, sometimes I talk in mic and I use that to see who it is currently talking.
Just really annoying this isn't fixed yet..
