Change how the sensitivity slider works or add more advanced voice filters (such as noise gate)

I find it really annoying that everything that is within the orange/yellow threshold is still picked up by my mic. All the noise suppression and echo cancelation do not help with this.

Maybe the orange/yellow threshold can stay the same, but add a red threshold which completely cancels out any sound that dwells in that threshold.

Adding a noise gate filter would also help with this.

I'm also a bit confused as I could have sworn the sensitivity bar used to work, but now it just doesn't do anything in terms of sensitivity management. It's like it's still on auto-detect.

    I guess it's working as intended for you now ?

    Because the setting basically IS a noise gate
    Below a certain threshold your microphone data is not sent.
