Screen share unexpectedly broadcasts user's desktop

When screen sharing a full-screen application on Discord (as opposed to a screen), the streamer's desktop (wallpaper + icons) is broadcast if the application being streamed is minimised.

Can this be fixed so that a black screen is displayed instead when the application window is minimised?
