I strongly agree. A lot of times I get to see a notification on the side of the screen, but haven't the time to click on it beore it disappears et then i can't find whick server or chan it was from. Too bad, really...

Pretty Please! A feed with anything that triggers the notification alert is be much need and would be heavily used.

Please add Discord Notification History - on some sort of sidebar/panel that can be shown and hidden by the Preferences options, but this feature needs to be implemented.

I registered yesterday and this is the first thing that immediately feels like a lack of the platform simply because when you join even on 3-4 servers things go in on so fast and always is a good idea to has a general overview of the notification like Facebook provided this under their bell icon.

I want the same thing: Sometimes I get two notifications, and because (at least in Linux) the second notification removes the first one, I have to dig through all servers and all channels I'm in to find a message. Digging through 20 Servers with 10 text channels each to find a message is no fun.

I specifically submitted a feature request where something would show your notifications, especially on Desktop version, whenever your name/role/here/everyone is mentioned but you have not yet read the message.

My reason is because I moderate a server of over 2000 people, and I tend to be in VC quite often, and I get pings regularly in many other servers I am a part of, however, I only get the notification tone and never know where or what my most recent ping is (I am also in several dozen servers). I had to disabled Desktop Notifications because I use 3 monitors and Windows & Discord do not allow us to set which monitor the notification will appear on, and that desktop notification often gets in the way because it will NOT leave until it is ignored for X amount of time or clicked away (and some game Fullscreen/window settings either interfere with clicking it or otherwise seeing it at all.

I need a way to know who/what/when/where/why I was pinged when I am actively using Discord, ESPECIALLY if it occurs in the same server I am currently VCing in. My phone will NEVER get the notification if the Desktop Application detects my "usage", so it'll just clear the notification the moment I receive it.

Something on our home sidebar, like Ping History, sorted by Cleared, Unread, and Read, akin to how our DM notifications are sorted and shown. There is no way to know if a new message specifically mentioning my name or my Moderator Role was sent in another text chat on the server I am VCing in. This means it is harder to reach me unless you DM me specifically, which we don't want if that certain Mod is not online or is handling other things at that moment.

My issue is that I get notification sounds but I have no idea where they are coming from. I am in too many servers to go through one by one to see where they are. I think a notification history is strongly needed to keep Discord a great software.

    +1 on this request!
Too often the notification toast popup on desktop disappears before I really get a chance to read it, and I'm on too many servers to know which one it came from.

It would be immensely helpful if we could have a list of the last X notifications (say 20-50?) we could review and click on and get taken straight to the message

This is my issue #1 with Discord. Although I just discovered the Inbox in the top right corner, that is quite what I need. But even there I couldn't find the message which was in my Windows toast notification some minutes ago.

There is a notification inbox. It's the paper tray icon at the top right next to the question mark. I think one of Discord's biggest problems is visibility. There needs to be a notification icon on the inbox tray so that people know that it's there.

The inbox icon looks like an ethernet port icon tbh, and the notifications are literally just sorted by mentions and unread, but there is seemingly no rhyme or reason to how they get sorted, and there's no way to sort through them. It could use an improvement for sure.

Maybe Discord could have a setting that allows you to 'stack' notifications and they have to be manually cleared instead of disappearing after X seconds???

I know we can search @ mentions, but if it's an important general announcement, I have no idea what server it came from after the initial notification disappears. Very annoying to those of us with OCD tendencies.

The fact that the recent mentions list is sorted by server is literally obnoxious (also why does chrome spellcheck not work on this input field?) Can we please have a choice to NOT group mentions in the recent mentions list by server and just have them show up in the order in which they were recevied FFS?
