Issues with Role Management
So, I have a lot of issues with the role management flow as it stands right now. I'll try and list them out here.
1. When you click to add a new role, the list does not scroll down to the newly selected/created role at the bottom of the list. Your sense of what role you are editing is lost.
2. The name of the role is auto added as 'new role' and when you click in the field it doesn't blank out like proper placeholder text. You have to manually delete 'new role'
3. If you have used any kind of custom colors for your roles, there is no 'custom colors' or 'recent colors' menu. You have to copy and paste the custom hex (which, you can't do from a phone) from another role. This means that I have to retrain my server on color meaning, OR, i can't manage roles from my phone. I keep a list of roles I have to create and address them at my PC
4. You cannot do role assignment from the role settings. Why? The flow is I create a role, then I assign the role. Why do I have to leave the role settings to do this? Seems like half the experience was thought out here.
5. to my knowledge, you cannot search for a role.
6. The custom color picker does not display the color in question. it's just the menu color dark gray (mac v 0.0.255)
7. When the window on the desktop app is narrowed, as the width shrinks, menu text in the roles menu wraps to the next line in the UI as expected. The role color menu does not. they just get cut off off screen, hiding them from view.
As the single person doing role management on my server, the number of clicks and the usability of this UX flow could be made half as many clicks :|

Wasn't making the case for a must have features, or them being necessary. It's feedback to make it less annoying to use. If that was the bar the site wouldn't be titled 'Feedback'.
