Owner/Admin permission bypass getting in the way (read before upvoting to have a clear understanding)
Allow us to turn off and on the bypassing functionality of the owner and admin roles for certain channels so that we can more finely adjust who can do what in which channels.
For example: I want to allow a certain role to speak and only that role in a voice channel while the other roles can join in and listen. However, because the owner and admin roles automatically bypass even settings I input for their permissions within that channel they still can speak. I also wish to do something similar but with no one speaking and it's only a channel for streaming quietly in.

create a role to listen and a role to speak that exist for only one category

Patrick, unfortunately you can't just do that. Admins and owners bypass that meaning that they can speak even if you tell their role not to through permissions or add them to specific roles that don't have said permissions.

During Covid19 we sent the whole company into home office, using Discord as our virtual office.
We currently have a silent channel, where nobody has permission to talk. We use it as a parking zone, where everybody can see whos available in voice chat at this moment.
However, because admins bypass our speaking permissions, whenever they forget to mute themselves, everybody startles when they come in.
I understand that administration roles should not be affected by local permission settings.
But please allow me to mute them. Thanks.2
