how about you make a recovery route for lost 2fa?
If you've lost your account due to your phone dying on you, and didnt bother saving those 10 codes they gave you because you trusted they would have a recovery route if the worse happens, well you're in for a ride as There is no other way to recover the lost account unless you're logged in somewhere (and lets face it,youre probably not)
the top question in the accounts settings tab is "Lost Two-Factor Codes" which should be enough to indicate the problem.
the fix? sms recovery, or maybe actually removing the 2fa with enough info provided? or maybe after enough time has passed and no one used the account, remove its 2fa?
there must be something that can be done, for all of us who lost contact with people they only knew on discord, or their hard-worked server being thrown to the trash.

You can fix this by changing your email address and verifying the new one..

Agreed. Especially now that money can change hands for products and services it's pretty ridiculous that the only "remedy" is deletion. Especially since big name companies have ways of restoring your account with validation. They know better than to tell people to 'buy again' just because they lost some codes.

I lowkey agree, this is what happened to my main on discord which owned a server, and I when I sold my ipad i realized that i couldnt get the authenticater code

So I login in and when I did it asked my phone number.. after that It asked me my digit

TakenJ you mean 6 or 8 digit code? that's the two-factor authentication. Discord is requiring a phone number to cut down on bot/spam accounts.
