It's about the character limit, but not what you think

So I was doing what some of us do every now and then, writing one of those PAPER MESSAGES that everyone hates to read. Anyway, I was typing along and I was about -2300 characters over limit. Ok, no prob. I plan on sending it as a file/separate parts anyway.

But I had to check something on a server real quick.

Then I came back to the dm.

-500.
It f*%^ing cut out 1800 characters.

Blame me all you want for typing a whole stupid message in Discord, emo, edgy, w/e. I just don't understand. I get a warning for my MIC BEING HARDWARE MUTED but I don't get a warning when leaving a chat stating that "Hey, if you do this you'll literally hate yourself because it's like catching all Pokemon in shiny form, EV/IV training them, and doing every exclusive event on a single save only to dump your cartridge in a bowl of cereal! Are you sure you want to do this?" Okay, maybe not that extreme BUT YOU GET IT. All I'm asking is a confirmation if you are literally going to omnomnom a bunch of characters that I WROTE. Even if I couldn't send them all anyway.
