The new red line hides new messages after some time when the window is unfocused

I don't really mind the new UI changes but this is a bit annoying.

I, like many others, have more than one monitor and i like to leave discord in the background. So i am rarely focused on that particular screen. But since the "new" red line stops the chat from going down on a new message when the line is at the top i find myself always tabing out and in just to reset the chat and it is very frustrating.

Can you at least make it an option? It makes using discord passively really hard especially when you are in a voice chat and playing a game with someone.
