Separating alarm sounds on servers from notifications on servers while keeping sounds in DM's.

Me and my friends have been wanting three things to work simultaneously so bear with me please:

Firstly it's preferable to mute the sound alone (I specifically mean the sound alone) on servers we don't want to hear from whilst still getting the notifications (the flashing bar + the red circle (with the little white in it) and the number of mentions and yes I still want the white dots marking there are unread messages in the server channel/chat) that otherwise show up. Now this is only possible to do (to our knowledge and considering how many times and methods I tried) by enabling Streamer mode and configuring Streamer mode settings to mute sounds, but not notifications. 

BUT WE STILL NEED THE SOUNDS TO APPEAR WHEN SOMEONE MESSAGES US IN DM'S. Forgive me for the all-caps and the by any chance caused distress. 

Let me clarify:

1. I want message sounds in Direct Messages to appear

2. I don't want sounds in a selected or all servers (I don't care which) to appear.

3. I still want the visual notifications to appear in and on servers.

If this is somehow possible to do already forgive me and please tell me how, but if not:

This could easily be fixed if you guys split the "Mute Server" option, into "Mute Server Sound" (the audible part) and "Disable Notifications" (the visible part). This should of course only affect those who specifically want it. Someone who's muted a server should automatically get the two suggested splits checked/crossed and see no change at all. The same should apply for those who didn't mute a server and see no change at all. Mentions in visibly muted servers should go through as usual unless disabled (as is possible to do, don't be afraid, I won't complain more). Sorry for such a long post.
