User Account Automation

Before y'all start screaming at your screens, I don't want to create a user bot, or "selfbot" as they've been called. This is not what I'm trying to suggest here.

There's been a few times where I've wanted to automate a couple of minor things on my account. By minor, I mean background things that only affect me that can't be done with a bot account (managing friends, blocking users, muting DMs).

As an example, now that users have the ability to mute DMs, something that comes to mind that I'd like to be able to do is to watch for users that DM me X number of messages per minute before I respond and if so, mute them. From my point of view, this seems like something that should be relatively harmless.

I'd like to see something in place that would allow the type of automation I'm describing. Perhaps now that verification is a thing, could some kind of verification procedure be made for users that would want to do something like this? Ideally, verification wouldn't be required for something like this, but if that's what it takes, I'll accept it. Just a thought.
