Android Screen Occasionally Blinks while in Voice Channel with Rythm Bot

The [Discord App] just got a new update on the [Google Play Store] and it completely ruined my experience. Whenever I'm in a voice channel with a [Rythm Bot] playing music, if I leave the app and keep the music from the [Rythm Bot] playing in the background, the screen occasionally "blinks" to a black screen then returns to normal. I don't understand why is this happening 😭. At first I thought it was because of my cache, but turns out that wasn't the problem. The screen continues to blink during the call. I'm using an MI MAX3 with MIUI v.11.0.3 P.S. Please suggest ways on fixing this...

  Hello.

  Is the screen blink appears when you do multi-task (play games while running discord in background) ?

  same goes with me. i was playing games and using discord in the bg to talk to my friends, but my screen keeps blinking. so i disconnected discord, then it went back to normal. iN NEED OF HELP.

  Yeah, the screen blinks while multi-tasking.
  I tried clearing cache and changing the settings, so the screen will never enter sleep mode from inactivity, but it still does.
  It still happens from time to time.
  It sucks. TvT
