Suggestion - Disable pings for mentions within the quote block
The title explains it all, pretty much. This would get rid of all the angry comments when someone decides to quote a message where he and 3 other people were pinged. (Make it so that users can enable pings manually for when they're mentioned in a quote block)
Pros:
- Promotes peace and prevents war.
- You don't have to ping yourself to reply to someone else.
- Can be used as a way to mention users without pinging them, in case you don't want to bother them and point others towards their profile.
Cons:

This just happened in the official server for MS Flight Simulator 2020, with a bit more than 50000 users so far.
They had to freeze the chat, so that's pretty much disruptive.
Also, it leads to some kind of privilege escalation, because the standard user's text wasn't meant to ping everyone, but everyone was exposed to it.
