Video Pop Out, Own Video Feed Blocking Partner's Feed

When on video calls with one other person, having the video feeds popped out, pinned, and resized to the smallest possible window size, my own video feed is blocking a good portion of the other person's video feed.

Why is it not like how Skype and Zoom where it is just the other person's feed and not my own blocking a majority of the screen.
