Improving readability for Dark Mode

Hello there,

I am the owner of a server for a German Formula 1 league and our main roles are the team roles. These roles have the primary colour of the team's livery.

Unfortunately, there are 4 different darker blue variants and it really messes with the readability for dark mode users like myself.

My suggestion is to add an option for white and black borders for usernames. This option is inside the user's settings, so everyone can choose, no matter if inferior light mode or superior dark mode user, if the want to have borders around usernames or not.
A light mode user would probably choose black border and a dark mode user would choose white borders.

If that is not your prefered option, that's fine, but please come up with some sort of idea.
