No displacement of message when it's been edited

Dear Discord,

Personally I hate it how when a message is edited the "(edited)" label displaces the message.

It moves it slightly down which makes it really stand out that it's edited.

It would be great if there could be a more subtle way of showing that a message is edited.

  Especially with bots, when you have a status embed for example, it would be really clean to have the embed show as any other embed, while it's being updated, without it looking ugly and displaced.
