Did you get a response from a Discord bot asking you to specify how you may have lost account? If so when you reply you should receive a repose saying they are escalating. Should take 1 to 2 months for them to get your account back, this info is coming from someone who was in similar situation (Not Me) . What I recommend is making a new account and send old ticket numbers to confirm if any of your old tickets from main email are open, they should only leave 1 open and close the rest if its for same issue. - im on 18 days since ticket from my original email was sent- meanwhile get buff so you can beat hacker ass  once you met one in person

Sounds about right - I'm at 26 days since being hacked, and 19 since last response. its absolutely frustrating that discord support is so slow on response.

I'm on the same boat, been waiting since Saturday. Why don't we all just go make Discord's awful support trend on Twitter? That's a PR nightmare waiting to happen and they'd have to actually care to get it to go away.

There are people who have waited literally months to get help. I've almost waited a week so far. That's my personal information that they readily have access to, and it will be almost half a month of nitro I paid for, with my renew date up and coming. With absolutely no word or update when someone else I know got a response in less than 24 hours. Is it really all that harsh?

I have had the exact same situation happen to me. I got told my ticket would be "escalated" and it has been about 2 weeks. I have been emailing Discord about every other day keeping tabs on the account and have yet to receive a response. On my second ticket, I actually got in contact with an employee who flagged the initial ticket for the urgency but still nothing. It's really disappointing how there has not been any communication on the status of the ticket or if a new account must be made from scratch. I had a lot of important servers and contacts that I can ONLY reach through Discord and support has not been responding to my ticket.

Stealing a Discord token SHOCKINGLY super easy and it shouldn't be... I don't mind waiting for them to get to it but a simple update saying "hey we are still working on it" would be enough peace at mind and keeps the ticket from getting lost in the shuffle.

its been 4 months and those customer support never do anything, i dare any of you saying they doing their best, give us example which ticket actually they solve. NONE, that alex m only enjoying his paycheck while doing nothing

my account still have nitro active aswell, and it was early supporter account, imagine how poor they treat loyal customer

asking to their fb/twitter/making other ticket wont help, they wont care about your shit

Yeah im also an early supporter and have nitro active. @CherryButter make new account and give them original ticket number and ask what's the status, that 4 months seems  very long. @ Tazatal keep us updated bro - you may get your shit back sooner then me, I'd say if you dont hear nothing back in 2 weeks send ticket with other account to confirm if main ticket is still open.

I’d like to hear updates as well. Y’all’s situations are astonishingly depressing.

One would think if someone were able to change your email, password, and 2FA, your account would be locked and inspected IMMEDIATELY- but clearly not. Or even some confirmation with password resets like “enter your childhood best friends name” or something easy.

I won’t sympathize with support for any of your situations, and can only hope mine doesn’t turn out like that. Best of luck to all of you.

My mobile phone is still attached to my account but if I try to use it to get a verification code to change my associated account it just tells me to check my email for the code. What was the point of having that feature if it does nothing?

    2
  • Dera

@Shulk Yeah I pretty much had the exact same problem and could never get the verification code for anything. It’s lame.

Funny enough, my tickets are being closed by “RonaldH”, with no response or follow up to anything. Despite providing as much information as possible. There’s no way they believe I’m a bot with my actions, right?

  • Shulk

You'd think that with something like a phone number attached they'd force you to use it to change your associated email. Luckily my tickets haven't been closed but they have been left in silence though.

@AceOperation do you get your account back? this is my other old account

where you ask the ticket is still open or not? by opening new ticket right? that doesnt work for me, dude i even try track that alex m, the guy who supose to handle this kind of issue, and pm his personal social media, no result lol

Dera how you find out your ticket still open or not?

  • Dera

itsukawa You can view if your tickets are open or not in the drop down of your profile in the top right of the support.discord.com page if you are logged in. Under this drop down should be "My Activities" and "My Profile". Activities will show you your tickets, and status next to them, and profile will show you what threads you've interacted with.

My tickets have continuously been closed, and I have to keep opening my "main" ticket despite saying "don't close this one its my main ticket". They don't even read the tickets before they close them.

    Anybody got any breakthroughs yet?

still in same boat as you

Still waiting here too, coming up on 2 weeks. The hacker already deleted my servers and friends, and changed my account name. :)

At this point I'm just gonna do a charge back to force the account to be locked so no one can have it. The fact that I have to resort to that is just sad.

My account was linked to PayPal, despite me changing the password, and the hacked spent my money. Once money is involved I got a response saying my ticket would be escalated. I report compromised account instead of hacked account and it seemed to get a response. My main hacked account ticket was closed 3 different times with no response.

I got my money back. I also got a response on my escalated ticket a week ago. Nothing else has happened yet.

My account got hacked and the hacker set up a 2FA which I did not have the information for. I sent a request and I only got an email from clyde bot thinking I'd finally get some help. Hopefully they can get my password back or something, anything to save it.

I'm in the same boat as you emilie, contacted discord support for it and it's just a waiting game

Anyone who tried recently that can say how long they have waited and if they've gotten an answer? I've only been waiting for 6-7 hours or so, but that's a lot of time to spread the malware :(

took me 3-4 weeks, but there's always individual circumstances, for me hacker got me to verify my email to the account so it took longer plus they enabled 2fa, my freind got theirs though within 4hrs

Damn, well this gives me some hope atleast. I have been stressed through and through and watching my main acc controlling my servers is just devastating... so far they havent done anything too crazy except stealing some cards of this Karuta bot game... the lengths ppl go through to steal some stupid pixels. My acc is literally a jackpot for them. Oh well.

If they have been able to change the email on your discord account, that means they've had access to your email as well. You should make sure you still have access to your email account and change the password. If this was caused by malware, you need to disconnect your PC from the internet before anything, and start wiping it clean. If the malware is still there, they'll keep stealing your tokens.

That did not happen fortunately. Though I was very careless falling into their trap of a so called investigation on my account because my account had a suspension notice (which is bs, their way of stealing accounts. It was very convincing, since they acted like discord support team). They first asked me to change my email + turn off 2fa of my account, I stupidly did. They then tried to ask for email credentials, but I refused at that point.

I can't login anymore since they have another email on it + their own 2fa enabled.

I really hope the official discord support can help me with this asap. I can't get over my anxiety and paranoia. As a creator/artist I had created so many stuff, and to have no control over it and potentially lose everything scares the shit out of me.

And for awareness I'd like to expose them in some way in hopes of preventing anyone else falling victim:

A MEE6 bot warned me about an account suspension and linked me to  https://discordcontact.trengohelp.com/en/articles/322394-how-to-appeal.

I stupidly followed instructions to change my accounts email to discord@accountant.com

    and remove my 2fa.

Don't ever change your email or turn of 2fa, no matter who tells you. Discord will never ask this of you.

this exact thing happened with me, someone gave me a server invite to complete a bot trade and then got an account termination from mee6 where I followed the steps including changing my email and disabling 2fa, and then asked me to verify my email which they used for that account so it would take longer for discord to get my account back.

Discord will never ask you to change your email, the scary thing though is how they managed to replicate discord support website to a T.

I believe there's a group if these hackers working together and using a bunch of hacked accounts to evade discord, I didn't realise that many people have experienced this and all for a some pixels, they've even managed to target bigger accounts ( example mine, had a card collection over 1k and been running my account for over 2 years).

I notified mee6 support server that there bot was being used as such but there's not much they can do when this person uses multiple accounts.
