Self-Bots should be brought back

It's seriously just an automated account at it's core, much like a normal bot, except it allows for far more advanced and personal usage and it can be used for convenience or decoration-related things. I absolutely just don't see a reason to ban self-bots when a normal user could just simply do the things a self-bot could do if it were for malicious intend, which generally isn't what self-bots would be used for, and moderating that should be obvious enough of a process. I would like to atleast see some response to this, there have been other threads about exactly this, but Discord just failed to respond to them entirely. We should have access to things such as self-bots not only because we can do it in the first place, but also because it used to be allowed and was mostly fine anyway. I'd like to hear the takes of other people aswell though, and see if there would maybe be a sort of middle-ground. And let's just hope that Discord will do something.

  Users cannot download the entire user list in mere seconds, track all presence & message data, and sell it to the highest bidder

  self bots also removes control of automated users from server owners, which is a bad thing

  Yes i can follow your thoughts. To automate some things on your account would be verry usefull. BUT, i made bad expiriences about Self-BOTs. First of all, they can do that they want. you cannot choose to have one on your server or not. And you cannot overwatch or contoroll that they do. Second thing, they confuse users. For example
  an "normal" BOT wears a "BOT"-Tag to say users i´s a automated account. Self-BOTs don´t. They coud be easily mistaken for "real" users. Shure you can tag them as BOTs as well, but it´s verry confusing if everyone is waer a "BOT"-Tag.

  Please keep Self-Botting as illigal. It wold be better for everyone...

  I actually agree with not allowing self bots. Discord is a messaging platform what would you wanna automate it for apart from automatically grinding game bots which is not exactly fair.
